Southwestern Connecticut Purpose It is the purpose of Southwestern Connecticut Intergroup to promote unity within the Intergroup, to provide a forum for the exchange of ideas, to be aware of and serve the needs of member Groups and to carry the message of Overeaters Anonymous to the compulsive overeater who still suffers. Who can attend SWCTOA Intergroup Meetings
Any person who wants to stop eating compulsively is a member of OA. Any member of OA is welcome at an Intergroup meetings as a guest. Guests are encouraged to share their ideas and opinions but are not permitted to vote. Voting members include: one Representative from each meeting, the Intergroup Officers, Committee Chairs, Region 6 Representatives and World Service Business Conference Delegate.
